When I arrived at Rome, the capital city of Italy, the sun was setting. After I checked in to my hotel room, I took the plunge and went out in the city. Once I left the hotel, I was surprised to discover that Rome was even more vibrant by night than it was in the daytime. I visited the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, which were splendidly lightened. Then, I took some time to admire the lovely terraces and the Italian people, who were always in a great mood. The following days I visited the amazing Vatican, the Spain Square and the multitude of museums. By doing this, I was able to find out many interesting facts about the culture and history of Rome. After a few days of wondering around Rome and checking as many attractions as possible, I took the train and went on, to Venice.

Those who have visited Venice will confirm that you have never seen anything like this. This incredible city basically flows on water, and the main means of transportation are, believe it or not, boats and gondolas. Next on my list was Florence, a beautiful romantic city where you can relax while admiring the sights. Finally, before leaving Italy, I could not have missed seeing the Pisa Tower, which is the only leaning tower in the world. My holiday in Italy was definitely unforgettable, and I would go back there any time, because this country left me with memories that I will treasure forever.
